New Discoveries Montessori Academy would like to invite you to our Veterans Day Program, Monday, November 13th, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. in the multi-purpose room.
Parents, Grandparents and neighbors are invited. Please invite any Veterans that you know. We are encouraging everyone to wear something red, white, and/or blue! Come see our Wall of Honor in the front of the school and the memorabilia on display as well.
Thank you to all Veterans for serving our country and protecting our freedom!
REMINDER: Wednesday, November 1 is a scheduled 2-hour late start. This means the buses/vans will be 2 hours later than normal. School will start at 10:45 a.m.
There will not be a.m. preschool.
NDMA families and community members are invited to a policy development meeting on Monday, Oct. 9th at 9:00 a.m.
Parents and Community Members are invited to help NDMA update the Wellness Policy.
The meeting will be in NDMA’s Meeting Room, 214.

SUMMER 2017 PARADES
Please join us for a parade!
New Discoveries will be walking in the following parades and handing out bookmarks, flyers and pencils!
Sunday, June 18th – Hutchinson Water Carnival – 1pm parade start
Saturday, June 24th – Glencoe Days – 11am parade start
Saturday, July 15th – Lester Prairie Days – 6pm parade start
Monday, August 7th – Cokato Corn Carnival – 6pm parade start
What do you need?
- NDMA t-shirt or Lime Green or Purple shirt (our colors)
- Bottle of water
- A smile 🙂
- Good walking shoes
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to parade start
- Look for Jay Malone vehicle (most likely a truck or SUV with their magnets on the side – they are letting us use a vehicle for the parades! If/When I hear what position we are in the parade, I can also let you know that information.
What will you do?
- Walk the parade route alongside the vehicle and hand out bookmarks & pencils to parade watchers.

E1 Music and Art Around the World, this showcase is Thursday, May 4th, at 6:30 p.m. Art Showcase is located in the main hallway for viewing before and after the music program.
