The things kids say…
All day long I hear little conversations and comments that make me giggle. They are so fun that I want to share them with you. I will keep updating with new little funnies as they come!
- As I was trying to squeeze through the door when the kids were in line, I asked for a little more room for my “big belly.” The next day, and at least once a day since, as I was attempting the same feat…
A: (with arms out) “Watch out! Watch out! Big tummy coming through!”
- B: (discussing the baby in his Mom’s tummy) “My baby kicks really hard! My mom must be really strong!”
- I explained that a plant in our room is a “baby” plant, so we have to be extra careful when watering it. I later heard them walk up to the plant “This is a baby plant, shhhh.”
- Food is in your stomach, then you poop it out.”
- I had a dream about letters, that’s why I know them.”
My new favorite are the excuses to go to the nurse.
- My _______ hurts. Fill in the blank: head, leg, stomach, toe, tongue, lips, ….
- I hit my ______. Fill in the black: head, leg, hand, …
- I need chapstick.
- Inside of my head, it hurts.
- My lips feel hard.
- Someone pulled my hair.
- Someone bit my lip yesterday and it still hurts.
- Sometimes my nose bleeds, but I don’t know cause I can’t see my nose.
I sure love kindergarten!
